Hello I'm Jessica Treslove, a MDes Product Design graduate from Sheffield Hallam University. I am a new and enthusiastic designer, based in Manchester. I'm Design Creative of the Week
My favourite piece of work from New Designers. James Pettinger’s, Jeremy…The Table. A beautiful piece of furniture involving testing material properties and joining techniques. The table has an engaging etched cooper top and is assembled by lashing together a plywood frame, using no glue or screws. This was a stand out piece for me because of the designers thought in to materials and their different approach to assembly.
Some very impressive and inspiring work on show at New Designers. It just shows how hard design students work and how talented young designers are today.
My work being displayed at New Designers at Islington’s Business Design Centre. An enjoyable and successful week.
